As a lifelong learner with a curious mind, I’m interested in human behaviour, technology for social good, and the transformational power of words.
Originally from New Zealand, I moved to London in 2011 and spent two years there before making Madrid, then Barcelona, Spain, my home.
My career has spanned different industries, including music, media, health and finance. I’ve primarily held communication positions and have been fortunate enough to travel the world doing what I love.
Today I would describe myself as a Storyteller and Strategist. A more ‘standard’ explanation is that I’m a Marketing Generalist with a specialisation in Communication. But I’ve never really liked boxes.

A professional achievement I’m proud of
- Creating and leading a complex global PR launch and strategy (a first for the company) in the UAE and India.
- Writing and coordinating a series of multi-lingual press releases, with four events across three cities.
- This resulted in 4 million+ people reached and 500+ pieces of coverage secured.
Something personal that I’m proud of
- Learning a new language in my 30s.
- This involved moving to the other side of the world, then to a country where I did not speak much of the language.
- Although I failed a lot, I overcame a significant communication barrier through dedication and determination.
